The pressure vessle (housing) with lifetime lead free ports is installed in the cabinet under the sink. The faucet is mounted on the sink. The pressure vessel is made of space age engineered polymers and houses the PurestOneTM Cartridge. The pressure vessel meets all plumbing code requirements (including NSF* Standards) for sustaining higher water pressures without leakage. Operating pressure range...30 to 125 psi. The life of the cartridge will vary depending on water quality. Small amounts of hydrogen sulfide and iron will be removed but large amounts will shorten the cartridge life. The system is not to be used on microbiologically unsafe water.
